Nancy Herz (Olso) in conversation with Sarah Berg (Munich)
With their book “Shameless”, three young Norwegian women with Somali and Lebanese roots have written a stirring plea for freedom: Amina Bile, Nancy Herz and Sofia Nesrine Srour tell of humiliating and shameful experiences in swimming lessons, with their families and at school, and show how concepts such as “honour” and “shame” are misused to restrict the development opportunities of girls and women.
