On the merits of books Michael Hagner and Anders Olsson

Jacob-und-Wilhelm-Grimm-Zentrum, Humboldt-Universität, Berlin
Geschwister-Scholl-Straße 1/3
6.30 pm

As a medical doctor and philosopher of science, Michael Hagner has long been interested in the development and functions of writing and reception.
As a writer and professor of literary history, Anders Olsson is also engaged with these topics. Together they will discuss whether books must be defended as genuine medium of arts and humanities, and what shape reading and the treatment of scholarship and literature is in the digital age.
The discussion will be moderated by Lothar Müller.
