Belfast Debate On Europe
A series of debates organised by the German Academy for Language and Literature and the S. Fischer Foundation in cooperation with local institutions.
Renowned authors, scholars, journalists, academics and experts from Northern Ireland, Ireland, Britain and South-East Europe will discuss the subjects of borders, conflicts and Europe.
Prominent speakers in Belfast include Fintan O'Toole, Katy Hayward, Basil Kerski, Jan Carson, Dubravka Stojanović, Andy Pollak, Garrett Carr, Susan McKay, Marius Ivaškevičius and Paul Bew.
Debates on Europe provides a platform for lively and open discussions on what Europe is and what it could be.
