Under the title “Blue Notes: Living in Sentences, Dancing in Verse”, the Poetica II festival brought together numerous international authors in Cologne from 25 to 30 January 2016.

The curator of the literature festival was the Slovenian writer and publisher Aleš Šteger.

The Poetica literature festival was launched in 2015 by the International College Morphomata of the University of Cologne and the German Academy for Language and Literature. It brings together authors and humanities scholars for public readings and debates in Cologne with new themes every year.
