Every year in the run-up to the Leipzig Book Fair, the German Academy for Language and Literature, the Lyrik Kabinett, the Haus für Poesie, the German Library Association and the German Literary Foundation publish together a list of recommended new publications of German-language poetry and poetry translated into German.

On the occasion of World Poetry Day, a circle of critics and poets will select ten German-language poetry collections and ten that have been translated into German which they consider particularly recommendable.

Novices, enthusiasts or simply the curious – all are warmly welcome.
